IMPORTANT: Questionmark recommendeds using the Delivery Odata API (click here for documentation) for new integrations, not the QMWISe API. Although we currently continue to issue maintenance updates to this API to support customers with current QMWISe-based integrations, we are no longer adding new methods/functionality to QMWISe.
Using IIS to control access by domain and IP address
Applies to the following products:
Questionmark OnDemand
Questionmark Perception
Questionmark OnPremise
Applies to the following Perception versions:
Perception 5.7
Your server documentation will explain how to configure IIS to allow only clients with specific domain names or specific IP addresses to use the server on which QMWISe is installed. For further details, please refer to:
Windows Server 2008:
This restriction can be applied to a specific virtual directory within a web server, so that only clients using QMWISe are subject to this security.
For example, both Perception and QMWISe could be running on the same server with access to QMWISe restricted by domain and IP address, but access to Perception would not need to be restricted in this way.
